We’ll be more than happy to help and could even support you to promote the event! We would love to hear from you, so please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. A bit of inspiration… Fundraising made easy- Donate while you shop at no extra cost! When shopping online, make your purchases via www.easyfundraising.org.uk and chose YMCA Newcastle as your charity of choice. That way, the companies you buy products from will make a donation to us at the checkout, without you paying anything extra. From hotelsto restaurants, and clothes to furniture: there are thousands of retailers on the site. Put on an event Put on an event such as a quiz or a fashion show and sell tickets. Not only is it a great way to raise money, it’s also good fun. Afternoon teas/coffee mornings Why not get baking and have people round for a coffee morning or afternoon tea? You can ask people for a small donation or hold a raffle and sell tickets. Car boot sales Set up a table for YMCA Newcastle at a car boot sale and sell your unwanted bric-a-brac. Auctions You could hold an auction dinner. Ask individuals and local businesses for items that money can’t usually buy. Individuals could offer an hour’s gardening, an evening’s babysitting or a week in their holiday home. Local businesses could offer items like a studio portrait, a hamper or a haircut. Sponsored events The possibilities are endless. Choose an event and collect sponsorship. You could run, swim, dance, sleep, sing, eat or be silent. The best way to manage your fundraising is to set up a personal fundraising page on this website: this is a really simple way to collect your donations and sponsorship. Remember us in your Will You could help us to provide life-changing support to young people in Newcastle years into the future by leaving us a gift in your will. Please see our Leaving a Legacy page for further details.
