Our young team have a regular collection route and collect used coffee grounds from our coffee partners. We pasteurise the coffee grounds, mix in recycled cardboard and mushroom spawn. We then let the coffee logs rest in the dark and the mycelium does all the work. In about 4 weeks the logs are ready to start fruiting.


They are moved into a controlled growing environment, nurtured and the speciality oyster mushrooms are ready for picking in about 2 weeks.                                                                   

We sell our speciality product to a number of restaurants and cafes in Newcastle.
